Monday 4/13/26 – Wednesday 4/17/26 northbound SR 896 between Old Baltimore Pike and Welsh Tract Road will be closed overnight each night for milling and paving. During this period, the northbound SR 896 on-ramp to northbound I-95 will also be closed overnight. Detours will be posted. Thursday 4/16/26 the southbound I-95 off-ramp to northbound SR 896 will be closed overnight for milling and paving. Detours will be posted.

Current Construction Activities

The focus of the I-95 & SR 896 Interchange Project is to decrease the amount, frequency, and severity of crashes. The reconfiguration of this interchange will improve the I-95 traffic affected by merging and diverging through and entering/exiting traffic.
